Deletions:
Although common in many other MMO's, the use of macros of any kind is not allowed in EVE Online. Also, trading in EVE commodities for anything but ingame commodities is prohibited.

However, there's always enormous demand for isk, and people will always try to pay for it with real money. So, some players are attracted to using macros for all sorts of activities in EVE, risking their accounts in the process. Their automated mining reduces the demand and thus the price of ore and minerals for the players who play it fair.

This article is about fighting macro miners, how to do it without getting killed, and more importantly, how to do it without breaking the rules yourself.

Please note: whatever you read on these pages about macro mining, the only people who have anything final to say about the rules of the game are CCP and their GMs. These pages are here to help and to try and keep you well-informed, but this is not eve-online.comleaving this site. Only their information is final.

Deletions:
Although common in many other MMO's, the use of macro's of any kind is not allowed in EVE Online. However, since there's an enormous demand for isk, people are still attracted to using macro's for all sorts of activities in EVE, risking their accounts in the process. Their automated mining (and other activities, possibly) reduce the demand and thus the prices of ore and minerals for other players, who play it fair.
Please note: whatever you read on these pages about macro mining, the only people who have the final say-so about anything allowed or disallowed are CCP and their GMs. These pages are here to help and we try to keep you well-informed, but we're not CCP.
