Skill Descriptions
EVE Online offers well over 200 skills to learn. In some cases it's apparent what you need them for by their names and info alone, but some skills have more than one use and others are plain mysterious. This article lists the available skillgroups. Look at the individual skillgroup pages to see the skills and their articles.

- Bureaucratic Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of corporate bureaucracies.
Requirements: Corporation Management III & Social III.
- Connections (3, CHA, INT) - Skill at interacting with friendly NPCs. 4% Bonus to effective standing towards friendly NPC Corporations.
Requirements: Social III.
- Criminal Connections (3, CHA, INT) - Skill at interacting with criminal NPCs. 0.4 bonus to effective standing towards NPCs with low Concord standing.
Requirements: Social III.
- DED Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Skill at dealing with Concord Department and negotiating bounties
Requirements: Social V.
- Diplomacy (1, CHA, INT) - Skill at interacting with hostile Agents. 0.4 Bonus per level to effective standing towards hostile Agents.
Requirements: Social II.
- Fast Talk (4, CHA, INT) - Skill at interacting with Concord. 5% Bonus to effective security rating increase.
Requirements: Social IV.
- Financial Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of Corporate Finances.
Requirements: Negotiation III & Social III.
- High Tech Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of high-tech corporate culture.
Requirements: Science III & Social III.
- Labor Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of corporate culture on the industrial level and the plight of the worker.
Requirements: Industry III & Social III.
- Military Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of military culture.
Requirements: Social III & Leadership III.
- Negotiation (2, CHA, INT) - Skill at agent negotiation. Improves agent effective quality. 5% additional pay per skill level for agent missions.
Requirements: Social I.
- Political Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of political concepts and stratagems.
Requirements: Social III & Diplomacy III.
- Social (1, CHA, INT) - Skill at social interaction. 5% Bonus to NPC agent, corporation and faction standing increase.
Requirements: None.
- Trade Connections (1, CHA, INT) - Understanding of the way trade is conducted at the corporate level.
Requirements: Trade III & Social III.
